You may be asking yourself the question, what is a visualization marketer?  I am going to explain in great detail exactly what the concept means to me, and how I apply this universal law in promoting successfully on Google.  A few years ago, when I first began to really get wrapped up in search engine optimization, I happened to stumble across a category on Google called Visualization Marketing.  I scrolled through several of the entries as the whole word was appealing to me from an esoteric viewpoint.  I came across some articles from none other than Mr. Bill Gates.  Yes, I am talking about the legendary Microsoft guru, Bill Gates.  I was very impressed by those articles and I had the thought that came from the universe, that I too, would approach the term visualization marketing and see just how effective I could be on this rather obscure keyword phrase.  I wrote a few articles about visualization marketing and what those words meant to me.  I would check my progress on Google and sure enough, within a few short weeks, I had captured that top keyword category.  As a matter of fact, I owned the first two pages on Google for visualization marketing.  My light bulb started to glow rather brightly and the rest is history.

Blogging is the art of adding content to an existing template.  According to the Wikipedia Online Encyclopedia:  "A blog (a portmanteau of web log) is a website where entries are written in chronological order and commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.

 

 

Many blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject such as food, politics, or local news; others function as more personal online diaries. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic. The ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs. Most blogs are primarily textual, although some focus on art (artlog), photographs (photoblog), sketchblog, videos (vlog), music (MP3 blog), audio (podcasting) or sexual topics (Adult blog), and are part of a wider network of social media. Micro-blogging is another type of blogging which consists of blogs with very short posts.

 

As of September 2007, blog search engine Technorati was tracking more than 106 million blogs.^[1]  This speaks highly for the blog.  You may have been searching on Google for relevant information concerning a particular keyword phrase and have run into a website that looks just a little different from most sites.  This was more than likely a blog.  People use blogs in all kinds of ways.  There can be blogs with titles that run the gambit from anything to teens searching for answers to life, to sex blogs, to informational blogs, but for the purpose that I use blogs, I like to call this blogging for dollars.  In fact, blogging is one of the single most powerful ways to obtain top positions on the search engines.  When you develop a blog geared towards a particular keyword phrase, add content to that blog daily and are very diligent in your pursuit of that keyword category you can achieve excellent ratings on Google.

In writing about leads, it become necessary to come to the core meaning of that particular keyword to find the hidden meaning behind it.  I usually use resources like the Wikipedia Online Encyclopedia.  It contains a wealth of information on basically any keyword that you can imagine.  Let's dig deeper into the term sales lead to see if we can discern the meaning of that word.

 

"A sales lead is the identity of a person or entity potentially interested in purchasing a product or service, and represents the first stage of a sales process. The lead may have a corporation or business associated with the person(s). Sales leads come from either marketing lead generation processes such as trade shows, direct marketing, advertising, Internet marketing or from sales person prospecting activities such as cold calling. For a sales lead to qualify as a sales prospect (or equivalently to move a lead from the process step sales lead to the process sales prospect) qualification must be performed and evaluated. Typically this involves identifying by direct interrogation the lead's product applicability, availability of funding, time frame for purchase. This is also the entry point of a sales tunnel or funnel.  Once a qualified lead exists, additional operations may be performed such as background research on the lead's employer, the generally market of the lead, contact information beyond that provided initially or other information useful for contacting and evaluating a lead for elevation to prospect, the next sales step.  If a sales lead eventually makes a purchase, this is called conversion.
